Tahlequah man pleads guilty to murder
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that a Tahlequah man pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
According to reports, on Feb. 7, 2023, Timothy Randall England, 36, shot and killed the victim with an assault rifle.
Charges against England arose after a probe by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Honorable Judge D. Edward Snow accepted the plea and England was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending his sentence. Assistant United States Attorney Ryan Bondura prosecuted the case.
