OHP: Watts woman killed in two-vehicle crash
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 62-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash three miles northeast of Spavinaw in Mayes County Thursday morning.
According to the report, Brenda Grace was westbound on State Highway 20 in a 2008 Mazda Miata when she crossed the center lane for an unknown reason, striking a 2008 BMW 328 head-on.
Grace, the only occupant, was pronounced dead by Mesta EMS.
The driver of the BMW, Pakao Lee, 65, of Jay, was transported by Lift Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with external head injuries.
Passenger, Sai Lee, 55, was transported by Life Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with internal and external trunk and arm injuries.
According to the OHP, the cause of the crash and the condition of both drivers are under investigation. All occupants were wearing seat belts.
