OHP: Tahlequah motorcyclist killed in Sequoyah County crash

A 61-year-old man is dead after crashing his motorcycle near Muldrow late Saturday night.


According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Kendall Asher was operating a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle just after 10:15 p.m. on East 1070 Road when he departed the road, reentered the road, laid the vehicle down, and made contact with the roadway. The OHP said there was very dense fog at the time of the crash.


Asher was transported by Pafford EMS to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith and pronounced dead by medical personnel due to his injuries.

 

The cause of the crash was listed as unsafe speed in inclement weather.
