OHP: Suspected drunken driver crashes into fire truck near Westville
A Siloam Springs man was reportedly intoxicated when he crashed into an unoccupied fire truck Wednesday evening.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 41-year-old Sroyamony Tang was driving a 2010 Hyundai Sonata on U.S. Highway 59, three miles north of Westville when the crash occurred.
Tang "failed to observe" the fire truck, which was parked with its emergency lights activated. The driver failed to move over and struck the emergency vehicle. Tang was not injured.
Pamela Dickinson, 40, of Westville, was transported by Westville EMS to Siloam Springs Hospital and admitted in stable condition with chest injuries.
According to the OHP, Tang was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
