OHP: Adair man dead after Mayes County crash

A 36-year-old man is dead after two-vehicle crash six miles east of Salina.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 6 a.m. April 15 on 6015 Kenwood Road. Chad Flickinger was admitted in critical conditon after he was airlifted to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was pronounced dead April 17.

The 18-year-old driver of a GMC Sierra was passing in a no passing zone and struck Flickinger's 2013 Dodge Avenger head on, according to the OHP. The driver refused medical treatment on scene.
