Cherokee County Republican Party announces meeting changes for November, December 2024
The Cherokee County Republican Party will not have a regular monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024.
CCRP will join with the Cherokee County Republican Women to participate in the 2024 Veterans Day Parade. The Veterans Day Parade will be held at 11 a.m. on Muskogee Ave. The Republican Clubs participate every year to honor all our Veterans and thank them for their service.
If you have any questions about the parade or want to volunteer, please call Pam Coonce at 918-453-2595 (leave a message if she doesn’t answer and she will call you back).
After the parade, we encourage everyone to attend the luncheon held by the VFW on the corner of Water Avenue and Choctaw Street. This is their yearly fundraiser.
The CCRP December meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Armory.
The club members are asked to bring unwrapped toy(s) for children. The collection of toys will be given to Toys for Tots and Help in Crisis this year. The club will have an informal “meet and greet” with our Republican officials and legislators while enjoying light treats and hot cocoa to celebrate the season.
If you want to donate toys, but cannot attend the December meeting, call Cherokee County Republican Chairman, Carol Sneed-Jalbert, at 417-847-7427 to arrange a toy pick-up or plan a toy drop-off.
The next regular meeting will be held on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025. The Cherokee County Republican Party meets the second Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Armory.
The CCRP seeks to engage conservative, constitutional, liberty-minded citizens of Cherokee County in the political process with education and outreach. All those interested are invited to attend the club meetings, events, and activities. Email the CCRP to be added to the Cherokee County Republican Party EMAIL list: CherokeeCountyGOP@gmail.com.
If you are a Republican elected official or candidate and want to speak to the Cherokee County Republican Party or if you have any questions about the club, please call Cherokee County Republican Chairman, Carol Sneed-Jalbert, at 417-847-7427.
Another Republican opportunity is to attend the Cherokee County Republican Women meeting on the third Tuesday of every month at the Armory. The next CCRW meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024. The club meeting starts at 10 a.m. and the program starts at 11 a.m.
Any interested people are welcome to attend. If you have questions, call CCRW President, Diane Timmons at 214-808-2639.
